3-09: Mongolian Anti-Nuclear Activists Will Protest (News in English, German, French & Japanese)

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The “Golomt”Anti-Nuclear Movement (ANM) will hold a public event on Saturday, March 9, to commemorate the 2^nd anniversary of the Fukushima accident. That day anti-nuclear activists in France, Germany, Japan and other world countries will form a human chain to call for the nuclear phase out. The “Golomt” movement activists will demonstrate their solidarity and support for the global anti-nuclear movement and will organize a protest under the slogan “NO! to Nuclear Fuel Cycle.”

“Golomt” ANM is a union of the Mongolian anti-nuclear activists formed in June 2011. The movement struggles against the construction of nuclear power plants and the storage of nuclear waste in Mongolia. It has been marked by persistent and determined efforts against the Mongolian Nuclear Initiative that intends to export Mongolian uranium and take back the spent fuel.

“Golomt” launched its activities on Hiroshima Day in 2011 with a photo exhibition “One Hundred Thousand Kites,” the event that aimed to alert the Mongolian society about the consequences of radiation exposure. In 2012 the “Golomt” activists organized anti-nuclear demonstrations on March 11 (“Remember March 11!”) and on April 26, on the 26^th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster (“Don’t Forget! Don’t Repeat!”). “Golomt” educates the public about nuclear dangers via its blog www.golomt.org. It translated over 10 documentaries about the hazards of uranium mining and risks associated with the use of nuclear energy, and the films have been broadcast on Mongolian public TV channels. In November 2012 the movement started a free newsletter “Golomt” that is distributed nationwide. The “Golomt” ANM activists traveled to an abandoned uranium mining site in Dornod province formerly used by the Russians, and a new, Areva-operated uranium mining site in Dornogobi province of Mongolia and performed radiation measurements.

An diesem Tag werden Anti Nuclear-Aktivisten in Frankreich, Deutschland, Japan und anderen Ländern der Welt eine Menschenkette für den Atomausstieg bilden. Die “Golomt” Aktivisten werden ihre Solidarität und Unterstützung für die globalen Anti-Atomkraft-Bewegung zeigen, in dem sie Proteste unter dem Motto “Nein zum nuklearen Brennstoffkreislauf ” organisieren wird.

“Golomt” ANM ist eine Vereinigung der mongolischen Antinuklear Aktivisten, die sich im Juni 2011 gebildet hat. Die Bewegung kämpft gegen den Bau von Atomkraftwerk und die Lagerung von Atommüll in der Mongolei. Die Bewegung zeichnet sich durch den Kampf gegen der sogenannten „Mongolian Nuclear Initiative“ aus, welche mongolisches Uran exportieren und die Rücknahme der abgebrannten Brennelemente ermöglichen will.

“Golomt” startete seine Aktivitäten am Hiroshima- Gedenktag im Jahr 2011 mit der Foto-Ausstellung “One Hundred Thousand Kites,” diese Ausstellung klärte die mongolische Gesellschaft über die Folgen der Strahlenbelastung auf. Im Jahr 2012 organisierten die “Golomt” Aktivisten eine Anti-AKW-Demonstrationen am 11. März (“Remember 11. März!”) und am 26. April ( 26. Jahrestag der Katastrophe von Tschernobyl (“Don’t Forget! Don’t Repeat!”) .

“Golomt” Bewegung klärt die Öffentlichkeit über die nuklearen Gefahren über seinen Blog www.golomt.org auf.

Die Aktivisten haben zahlreiche Dokumentarfilme über die Gefahren von Uranabbau und die Risiken im Zusammenhang mit der Nutzung der Kernenergie in mongolischer Sprache übersetzt und die Filme wurden auf den mongolischen öffentlichen TV-Kanälen ausgestrahlt.

Seit November 2012 gibt die „Golomt“ Bewegung eigene Zeitung aus und verteilt sie kostenlos in den ländlichen Gebieten der Mongolei.

Die “Golomt” ANM Aktivisten reisen zu den Orten, die von Uranabbau betroffen sind und durchführen Strahlenmessungen. Messungen wurden in Provinz Mardai/Dornod, in einer von den Russen verlassenen Uranmine und in Provinz Dornogobi, wo „Areva“ gerade Uran abbaut, durchgeführt.

Ce même jour, les militants anti-nucléaires de France, d’Allemagne, Japon et d’autres pays du monde formeront une chaîne humaine pour appeler à la sortie progressive du nucléaire. Les militants du mouvement “Golomt” feront preuve de leur solidarité et leur soutien pour le mouvement mondial anti-nucléaire et organiseront des manifestations sous le slogan «NON au combustible nucléaire. ”
“Golomt” MAN est une association de militants antinucléaires Mongols formée en Juin 2011. Le mouvement se bat contre la construction de centrales nucléaires et le stockage des déchets nucléaires en Mongolie. Il avait traduit plus de 10 documentaires sur les dangers des mines d’uranium et les risques associés à l’utilisation de l’énergie nucléaire, de films avaient été diffusés sur les chaînes de télévision publiques mongoles. En novembre 2012, le mouvement avait commencé l’édition d’un bulletin gratuit “Golomt” qui fût distribué dans tout le pays. Les activistes de « Golomt » MAN s’étaient rendus sur un site minier d’uranium abandonné dans la province de Dornod autrefois utilisé par les Russes, puis sur un nouveau site d ’ Areva qui fonctionne sur le site minier d’uranium de la province de Dornogobi en Mongolie, puis des mesures de rayonnement furent effectuées.

【ウランバートル、モンゴル】 ゴロムト反核運動（アンチ・ニュークリア・ムーブメント＝ANM）は、福島原発事故2年にあたって3月9日（土）、覆面デモを開催予定です。当日、フランス・ドイツ・日本など各国で核エネルギー反対をアピールする市民のデモ・集会がおこなわれ、核の脅威に反対して人間の鎖をつくります。モンゴルの反核運動家らは、世界の反核運動への連帯と支持を表明して「核燃料サイクルに反対しよう！」をスローガンにデモを行う準備中です。
ゴロムト反核運動は2011年6月に設立されたモンゴルの反核運動団体です。その活動は、モンゴル国における核廃棄物の最終処分や原子力発電所の建設、ウランを採掘して輸出し核廃棄物を輸入する「モンゴル核イニシアチブ」に一貫して反対してきました。2011年8月の「10万羽の鶴・写真展」を開催して核の脅威について社会に警告することで活動をスタートさせました。ゴロムトのスタッフは、2012年3月11日、福島原発事故から1年後に覆面デモ、2012年4月26日、チェルノブイリ原発事故26日、チェルノブイリ原発事故26年にあたりデモ「忘れるな！繰り返すな！」を成功させました。2011年3月から開設しているブログサイトwww.golomt.orgを通じて核の危険性について国民に情報を提供しています。同時に、ウラン採掘と核エネルギーの使用による危険性に関するドキュメンタリー10数本を翻訳して地方に配布し、また、モンゴルの各テレビ局でも放送しています。2012年11月には、ニューズレター『ゴロムト』を発刊し、全国に無料で配布しています。メンバーは、ロシア人によって開発され現在は放棄されているドルノド県のウラン採掘現場で調査を行ったり、ドルノゴビ県におけるアレバ社のウラン採掘現場で線量の測定を行ったりなどの活動も行っています。
